Xelloss is an unknown priest who follows Lina's group in Slayers Next.  Whenever they ask him a question, he will answer "Sore wa, himitsu desu!", meaning "That is a secret!".  He also possesses the Demons Blood talisman, which are able to amplify his magical power.  Xelloss later gives these to Lina to help her.  He is also always smiling and always has the ^_^ type eyes.
    Now for the stuff that's known later in the series.  Xelloss is a powerful Mazoku general under the command of the Greater Beast Xellas Metallium.  Because the Greater Beast only created one subordinate, Xelloss is the most powerful Mazoku General in the Slayers world. He even destroyed nearly all of the dragon races in the War of the Demons' Descent.   Xelloss is able to manipulate Lina and her companions and lead them to whevever he must lead them.
    In Slayers Next, he was "borrowed" by Hellmaster Fibrizo to help him accomplish his goals in bringing Lina to him and having her cast Giga Slave to destroy existance.
    In Slayers Try, he is under the command of his original master and is sent to bring Valgarv to the Mazoku.  He also annoyed Filia very often.
