Zelgadis is a chimera, a being that is 1/3 golem, human, and brow demon.  As a boy, he wanted much power.  Then Rezo curses him by turning him into a chimera under his control. After his servitude, Zelgadis searches for a way to undo the curse on him.
    Zelgadis is a quiet and serious man who is a great swordsman, sorcerer, and the smart one of the group.  All of these skills, along with the fact that he's 1/3 golem, make him an opponent hard to defeat in any sort of combat.  He excels in the Spirit category of magic and is good at all other types of magic.
